Scott Kremerskothen's intimidating name has been a semi-regular on Tasmanian scorecards since making his debut as a 20-year-old in 1998-99, although it has been spotted less frequently over the past couple of seasons. A middle-order batsman who doubles as a handy medium pacer capable of moving the ball both ways, Kremerskothen is also a strong fielder but was seen intermittently in 2005-06 due to injury. Not quite good enough to sustain a place with his batting or bowling alone, he has grown into a fringe member of the squad who must wait for his opportunities. A former Academy member and part of the Australian Under-19 World Cup team of 1998, he suffered a broken cheekbone when hit by Stuart Clark in 2001-02, but his most recent concern is pushing for a permanent spot in the Tigers' line-up.
