Short and wide, Mendis tries to attack to release the mounting pressure but picks out Leask reaching to his left across his body at chest height. Long hop on seventh stump, Nissanka tries to drag this over the leg side either than go with the angle through the off side and miscues this tamely to Mackintosh at short midwicket, who does a bunny hop reaching above his head to intercept it.. 142/4 40.4 to KIC Asalanka, Gottim! Tossed up, carbon copy of the previous delivery, Asalanka tries to reach for it, playing away from his body as he attempts to play a late cut, gets a thick outside edge to the keeper! Sri Lanka in a spot of bother! Pure elation fills the air as he raises his arms in triumph, a wide smile stretching across his face.. 207/7 44.4 to CAK Rajitha, Tries to target that knee roll, that looked plumb! Quicker delivery, goes on with the arm, beats his flick and the umpire agrees, raises the dreaded finger as another one bites the dust. This time he drags the length back to pitch it on a good length on fourth stump, it spins in but more importantly skids low and castles de Silva playing back to flick through midwicket.. 203/5 39.3 to MD Shanaka, two in two! Googly again flighted full on sixth stump, Shanaka tries to smash him over mid-on up in the ring but miscues the drive and picks out Sole doing a bunny hop to take the catch reaching above his head.. 203/6 43.1 to PW Hasaranga, Loopy delivery on a fuller length, follows the batter who was shimming down leg, Hasaranga goes hard at it, larrups it over the bowler's head but didn't get all of it. Sole at long-on swoops to his left, covers a lot of ground and pouches an absolute stunner! Scotland get another prized scalp as wickets continue to tumble for Sri Lanka. That's a good breakthrough for Scotland because he is a dangerous customer. 223/8 49.3 to CBRLS Kumara, Miscues the skier! Low full toss on off, he launches it over the bowler's head and Sole at long-off didn't have to move a muscle to swallow it up, he is safe as a house in that fielding position and Sri Lanka have been bowled out in the last over. Tossed up on a length and he doesn't know where it's gonna spin, gets stuck on his crease and leaves a big gap, ball rips through the stumps and he has to take the long walk back into the pavilion. Mystery spinner has produced the first bit of magic as McMullen plays it down the wrong line. 38/2 10.2 to RD Berrington, Sharp catch like a lizard pouching its prey at first slip! He tries to work this to the leg side but gets an edge straight to de Silva at first slip who dived to his left and made sure to keep his fingers underneath the ball. Theekshana strikes again as Scotland finds themselves in a rut!. 55/3 21.2 to J Jarvis, Tossed up, fuller and gets it to spin ever so slightly, beats his flick and he is pinned in front, no doubt in the umpire's mind and up goes the finger.
